  2. full-featured installation utility for Windows. It allows multiple-disk
  3. installs, automatic extraction of files compressed with the Microsoft
  4. COMPRESS.EXE utility, and several levels of overwrite protection. I hope
  5. you will find WINstall a capable application and appropriate for your
  6. needs. Should you have any problems with WINstall, or any suggestions to

  16. You may find that a particular feature or capability that is available
  17. in other installation programs isn't available in WINstall. The primary
  18. goal in the developement of WINstall was to make it small enough that
  19. space would not become a concern. We know that potential customers don't
  20. want to download large ZIP files and accumulate exuberant online charges
  21. to try out a shareware application if they don't have to. Also WINstall,
  22. with its ability to extract files that have been compressed with the
  23. Microsoft COMPRESS.EXE utility, allows you to put a lot more program
  24. into the limited real estate of today's floppy disks. It's because of
  25. these benefits that we have had to leave out some of the flashier things
  26. that other installation programs pride themselves on. So if you think
  27. there is an important feature that is lacking in WINstall, let us know.
